Humility knows we need God.
Say, 'I need You God.'

Humility knows we need others.
Say, 'I need other people.'

Humility recognises how great we are not.
Say, 'Lord, You've done it all.'

Humility admits our own shortcomings and congratulates others on their successes.

Humility serves others we consider our equal or less.

Humility waits patiently.
Say, 'I am patient.'

Humility restrains anger.
Say, 'I forgive everyone who has ever offended me.'

Humility is not announcing our own achievements.

Humility prefers others.

Humility is not something that is given to us.

Humility is something we do to ourselves.

"I Will Bless the Lord"
by
True Worshippers

I will bless the Lord with all my soul
I will bless the One who made me whole
For You alone my Lord my heart will sing
I will bless the Lord with all my soul

I will tell of all Your mighty love
One that pulled from the dark into Your light
For You alone my Lord my heart will sing
I will tell of all Your mighty love

Chorus
Holy are You Lord
My heart will sing out
Mighty Son of God
My sould will cry out
Worthy Lamb of God
My life will sing out
I will bless the Lord with all my soul

Bridge
God of all the earth
God of all the earth
God of all the earth
Jesus

here's another amazing song by Sydney Mohede:

"Captivated"
by
True Worshippers

Jesus You
You hold the world with Your unfailing love
The heaven sings Your praises from above
In Your name lips shall praise and knees shall bow

Father You
The universe exalts in who You are
The stars declare Your wonders far and wide
How majestic is Your love throughout my life

Pre-Chorus
In You… I find my peace
In You… I bend my knees

Chorus
You are Lord of Heaven
You shall reign in all the earth
I humbly bow before Your majesty
Now I will sing Your praises
And I will sing forevermore
I’m captivated by Your love in me

It's my turn to input my first entry into cg blog. Anyway, I am proud that Jeremy and Clarence took initiative to kick start this cg blog in the midst of their studies and projects. It is great to see the entire cg serving one another with their talents so let's avail ourselves more!

Today had a great cg mtg with all the great testimonies by the members. More importantly, there was a such a strong tangible presence of God. After cg, we fellowshipped as normal but what is unusual is that there is preview of Emerge 2009 Eating Contest!

So the challenge is: "Eating 2 cupcakes at one go"!

Preedee began the challenge but could only manage 1 and 1/4 cupcake. Lester tried but could only managed 1 cupcake despite claiming to be the master of Preedee. Haha. The winner is then PREEDEE! So do look out for this young man in next yr's Emerge 2009 Eating Contest!=)

"LISTS"

Just something to share with you guys. It's by Pst. Phil Pringle!

"Write the vision, make it plain..."
- Habakkuk 2:2

Understand the power of a list.
  • Write down lists regarding everything you lead and manage.
  • Write lists of those things you need to do, then do them, one by one.
  • Write down the list of follow-up things you need to do.
  • Put the most important at the top.
  • Do first things first, last things last.
  • Write down your vision list - for this year, for the next 10 years, for your life.
  • Write down your goals for today, this week, this year.
  • Write down your plans and strategies.
  • Tick them off as you do them.

Simple, but amazingly powerful!

sincerely Yours,
